Look at Brew is my way of celebrating great artisan beer. I like blogging and I love great beer, it’s a passion really, one that started 13 years ago when I got lured in by a bottle of Hobgoblin, it was the label that attracted me but it was those toffee malts that got me hooked.
As a keen beer drinker I started noticing the increasingly complex, modern and in some cases abstract art on bottle labels. Look at Brew started as a way to document that, but as I became a more mindful drinker my palate developed and the blog did too.
Since the blog started I’ve had the opportunity to meet with some great people in the industry, especially the local Sussex brewers, so Look at Brew will always seek to feature the local scene, a scene that is at a creative high right now.
It’s not all Sussex-heavy though, other more general articles, reviews and news from around the country and sometimes further afield will feature here too. This blog is a celebration of all great beer, be it local or not, artisan cask, keg, bottles and cans. This is me navigating my way through this ever increasing, complex, often blurred world of beer- the breweries, the beers, the pubs, the festivals and even the labels.
If you’d like to get in touch with me regarding a potential feature or project then please take at look at my Contact page.
Here’s looking at brew!
